Contact
All the senses converge at a single point, an axis of the soul. An association with eye, tongue, ear and touch, but also transcendent above them. Beyond the duality and division of the senses the soul exists on a plane of oneness, in a visual-soundscape. Seeing with ears, hearing with eyes, until nothing exists except pure form.
As a composer and writer, I have evolved from a visual arts background. I feel it's important to incorporate visual aesthetics into my work or to conceive the work in a visual way through root aesthetic form.
This spiral shape is a visual representation of how I imagine the musical scale might look like if it could be seen with the eye.![]()
The other aspect to my work, includes ideas that concern the spiritual
and mystical in life, and these have been a great source of inspiration
for both the text and music I try to create. I've written an article to
explore these ideas in more depth, especially ideas of transcendent states
of being or consciousness, see Apex
of Consciousness for more. Or see my current novel A
Shade Near White.
